The Murals of Nashville

Y’all I’m sorry for the late post! I had the coolest opportunity to go to a jazz style speak easy on Thursday night, and I couldn’t pass up the chance! And then, life took over and the Lord filled my time with some incredible memories! So, here we are, two days late. Below are some of the Nashville murals that I have visited recently!

Nashville is a city of street art. From the sides of coffee shops, to the walls of parking garages, local and national artists have taken the time to make our city colorful. People stop for pictures in front of them constantly, including me. #guiltyascharged

It’s just that no one can resist the happiness that these beautiful and creative murals leave behind them! I’ve only covered a few locations in this post, because there are so many that I haven’t even been able to reach all of them!!

Hillsboro

Hillsboro Village Mural

My sister and I LOVE this mural! It’s so colorful and has tons of food like pizza and pancakes!

The Gulch

The Famous Wings

The wings are in the heart of the The Gulch between Bar Louie and Milk & Honey. It’s perhaps one of the most noticeable murals in Nashville now, so have you really visited if you don’t have a picture with your wings?

The Color Wall

Relatively new, this beautiful wall covers the entire side of a warehouse-sized building. With it’s varying colors, you can get a different feel and vibe based on the part of the wall that you chose to photograph!

Green with Envy

Y’all – this wall is spicy. The colors pop, and the iron bars on the windows give this mural an urban and edgy feel. Love this one so much.

The Green Pea Salon Flowers

This is my sister’s favorite mural, and it is beautiful when they’re aren’t weird shadows on it!! (It’s between two buildings and the lighting can be bizarre.
